Vietnam’s Ministry of Information and Communications has issued a new National Technical Regulation (QCVN 133:2024/BTTTT) focused on multi-technology NR and E-UTRA mobile base station equipment, specifically addressing the radio access part. Dates for Compliance

The Circular establishes a clear roadmap for the implementation of the new regulation:

  • February 15, 2025: The regulation becomes effective.
    • QCVN 133:2024/BTTTT must be applied for testing, conformity certification, and conformity declaration.
  • July 1, 2025: All NR and E-UTRA equipment must comply with QCVN 133:2024/BTTTT before market circulation.

The Circular mandates that government agencies, provincial departments, and relevant organizations ensure the regulation’s smooth implementation. Stakeholders, including equipment manufacturers and importers, are encouraged to prepare for compliance well ahead of the July 1 deadline.
