Vietnam: MIC Seeks Feedback on Cybersecurity Standards for Surveillance Cameras

The Vietnam Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) has initiated a public consultation for a proposed national technical standard concerning cybersecurity requirements for surveillance cameras. The draft regulation, titled QCVN 135:2024/BTTTT, focuses on Internet Protocol (IP) surveillance cameras, aiming to establish a framework for basic information security measures.

The consultation period opened on August 23, 2024, and will remain open until October 23, 2024. Industry stakeholders, experts, and the public are invited to submit their feedback on the draft regulation through this link.
