Serbia has officially implemented changes to its national radio frequency band allocation plan. The updated regulation entered into force on April 12, 2025, following its publication in the Official Gazette (No. 31/2025). This update was enacted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia during its 77th session and is based on the Law on Electronic Communications (Official Gazette No. 35/23).

Purpose of the Amendments
The changes were proposed by Serbia’s Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (RATEL) and submitted through the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications, with input from relevant provincial authorities.
The updated allocation plan is designed to ensure efficient and compliant use of radio frequency spectrum across the country. It outlines how specific frequency bands are assigned to various radiocommunication services and aligns domestic policy with:
- International Radio Regulations
- Multilateral treaties and agreements
- European Union legal frameworks and recommendations
This alignment helps maintain Serbia’s compatibility with international spectrum management practices and supports ongoing development in sectors such as mobile communications, broadcasting, and public safety.
