What Memorandum Circular No. 004-06-2026 Changes
The circular amends Section 2, Operating Parameters, of Memorandum Circular No. 03-05-2007. It confirms that the limits of the technical parameters it prescribes cannot be exceeded by any function of the equipment or by any means, applying specifically to equipment for detecting movement and alert.
New Frequency Bands and Power Limits
The revised operating parameters set the following frequency bands and maximum power limits for equipment for detecting movement and alert:
- 2400 to 2483.5 MHz: 25 mW eirp
- 9200 to 9500 MHz: 25 mW eirp
- 9500 to 9975 MHz: 25 mW eirp
- 13.4 to 14.0 GHz: 25 mW eirp
- 24.05 to 24.25 GHz: 100 mW eirp
- 77 to 81 GHz: 50 mW eirp
Effective Date and Compliance Timeline
Any circular, memorandum, order, or provision inconsistent with Memorandum Circular No. 004-06-2026 is deemed amended or superseded accordingly. The circular takes effect fifteen days after publication in a newspaper of general circulation and filing with the Office of the National Administrative Register of the University of the Philippines Law Center.
