Paraguay: CONATEL’s Implementation of Enhanced Mobile Device Standards

Paraguay’s National Telecommunications Commission (CONATEL) has implemented Resolution No. 3171 to enhance mobile device standards in the country.

This new regulation adopts the NTC-T-IMT:2023 technical standard, establishing a thorough framework for conformity assessments.

The standard outlines specific technical requirements for mobile devices, enforcing compliance with established norms for operation within Paraguay’s telecommunications infrastructure.

Also, the NTC-T-IMT:2023 standard mandates that mobile devices adhere to power limits, emissions criteria, and authorized frequency bands, ensuring they meet global telecommunications benchmarks. This initiative aims to optimize device performance and reduce network interference.
