The updated order, issued on August 13, 2024, and registered on August 15, 2024, brings changes in line with Article 12 of Kazakhstan’s Communications Law. Additionally, the amendment is supported by regulations set forth in the Ministry of Digital Development’s governing framework, established in 2019, which emphasizes innovation and aerospace industry standards.

Key Changes in Frequency Allocation

The primary focus of this update is the frequency range from 3 kHz to 400 GHz, covering radio electronic equipment across various applications. The revised order provides a newly structured preamble and updated details within the frequency allocation table, ensuring that each radio service is aligned with Kazakhstan’s regulatory requirements and better suited to support a growing digital infrastructure.

  • Frequency Range: The allocation changes impact frequencies from 3 kHz up to 400 GHz, making these bands available for diverse radio equipment purposes.
  • Applicability: These updates are intended for all radio services operating within the specified frequency range, aligning the regulations with both current communication needs and future digital development in Kazakhstan.
