106.1 MHz Frequency Concession Extension

On August 9, 2024, El Salvador’s telecommunications authority issued Resolution No. T-0485-2024, granting an extension of the concession for the 106.1 MHz frequency. This frequency, associated with the YSBF call sign, serves the sound broadcasting service of free reception in San Francisco Menéndez, located in the Ahuachapán Sur district. The concession allows for regulated commercial use with exclusive rights in the area.

The station continues to provide uninterrupted service to the city and surrounding areas as part of the regulated broadcasting infrastructure.

103.7 MHz Frequency Concession Extension

On August 15, 2024, another extension was granted by Resolution No. T-0516-2024 for the 103.7 MHz frequency, under the YSBE call sign. This frequency covers the city of Berlin and adjacent rural areas in Usulután Norte. The concession permits the station to operate as a free-to-receive sound broadcasting service, designated for commercial use with exclusive rights in the region.

Both extensions comply with the guidelines set by Article 61 of the Telecommunications Act, ensuring continued service for commercial broadcasting in their respective regions.
