Meet the Leadership Team
Rick Patterson
Founder & CEO
Rick founded Global Validity in early 2018 after 32 years in regulatory compliance testing and certification. Beginning his career in the United States Navy, Rick has enjoyed successful roles at Springtide Networks, Lucent Technologies, TUV Rheinland, VDE and Bureau Veritas.
Kat Venardi
Co-Founder & Director of Operations
Kat has spent 10 years in the TIC industry beginning her career at TUV Rheinland. She has effectively led US Market Access project teams for large TIC providers and her experience has helped build the process automation tools necessary for customers and suppliers to collaboratively manage their global certification projects.
Michael Jungnitsch
EU Advisor
Michael has over thirty years of experience with product safety, testing, and certification. He started his career as an engineer with TÜV Rheinland, eventually becoming Chief Regional Officer for Asia-Pacific and the President and CEO for TÜV Rheinland Japan Ltd. He has also enjoyed a successful career at VDE Testing and Certification Institute as well as Intertek.
