Who We Are
Global Validity was founded by a team of testing, inspection and certification experts who recognized the need for a more efficient and transparent approach to Global Market Access management. To achieve this, we leveraged advanced cloud technology to develop Access Manager, a patent pending Global Market Access management platform for service providers and manufacturers.
Today, Global Validity is proud to serve a diverse range of clients, from startups to global scale electronic manufacturers, streamlining their certification processes and enabling their products to become certified in over 200 countries and territories. Rick Patterson
Founder & CEO
Rick founded Global Validity in early 2018 after 32 years in regulatory compliance testing and certification. Beginning his career in the United States Navy, Rick has enjoyed successful roles at Springtide Networks, Lucent Technologies, TUV Rheinland, VDE and Bureau Veritas.
Kat Venardi
Director of Operations
Kat has spent 10 years in the TIC industry beginning her career at TUV Rheinland. She has effectively led US Market Access project teams for large TIC providers and her experience has helped build the process automation tools necessary for customers and suppliers to collaboratively manage their global certification projects.
Guy Merritt
Strategic Technical Advisor
Guy has 35 years in product development and leading several successful Life Sciences technology startups. Beginning his career in the United States Airforce, Guy has enjoyed successful roles at Verizon, Rivulet, exalink and Spirent and is the co-author of the award-winning book, “Proactive Risk Management: Controlling Uncertainty in Product Development.
Michael Jungnitsch
EU Representative
Michael has over thirty years of experience with product safety, testing, and certification. He started his career as an engineer with TÜV Rheinland, eventually becoming Chief Regional Officer for Asia-Pacific and the President and CEO for TÜV Rheinland Japan Ltd. He has also enjoyed a successful career at VDE Testing and Certification Institute as well as Intertek.
